The retail growth of footwear by large retail enterprises nationwide is sluggish. From January to June, the sales volume of shoes was about 58.553 million pairs, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, and the retail sales were 24.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%. It can be seen that the Chinese leather industry has encountered a period of depression, with the continuous decline of major economic indicators constantly impacting industry expectations. The growth rate of sales revenue continues to decline, and the total profit has also shown a decline, while the export volume is accelerating its decline, making the future development of the export-oriented leather industry increasingly uncertain.
