Cowhide full grain leather is a product that is closest to the natural characteristics of the original leather. It does not damage the grain layer during leather making, with clear and visible pores. The surface is not coated or lightly coated, and it has a natural and beautiful appearance, as well as comfortable and breathable performance. The hand feel is full and elastic, making it a high-quality cowhide leather. Generally suitable for making leather shoes.

Some cowhide veneer leather cannot be well utilized due to numerous defects and injuries. In leather making, the grain layer is first ground and then re coated with specialized chemical materials. Heat press various animal skin pore patterns or other styles on the coating to achieve a beautiful and practical effect. The strength remains basically unchanged, but the feel and elasticity are slightly inferior to full grain leather. Generally suitable for making mid-range leather shoes.

Cowhide film leather uses cowhide two-layer leather and three-layer leather as the base, and after grinding, a layer of polymer film with leather patterns is attached (or sprayed) on its surface. The appearance of the leather treated in this way is almost the same as that of cowhide modified leather, but its breathability is slightly inferior. Generally suitable for making sports shoes and low-end leather shoes. If the adhesive on the surface is thick or has a cloth based film, although it feels similar to cowhide, its appearance and performance are closer to synthetic leather.

Cowhide (second layer) suede leather The fiber layer of cowhide leather appears fine and fluffy after grinding, and the surface is generally not coated except for dyeing. Therefore, it has good breathability, but it is easy to absorb dust and is not resistant to oil stains when worn on the outside.

The surface of cowhide lacquer leather is coated with a mirror like smooth and highly reflective lacquer layer.

After special processing, cowhide oil immersed leather has strong oiliness, good durability, and a sufficiently oily surface. Generally, the leather body is soft and not easily wiped with shoe polish.

The dual color effect of cowhide leather is achieved by applying two different color coatings on the surface of cowhide leather. Generally, light colors are applied on the lower layer, while dark colors are applied on the surface layer. At first glance, it appears as one color, and after bending, the second color can be seen. After wearing for a period of time, the surface color will gradually be worn off, revealing the light colored parts and creating a dual color effect, giving a natural feeling.
